the tour starts from Piazza del Gesù, where you will visit the homonymous church and the nearby cloister of Santa Chiara. Further along the street called Spaccanapoli (literally: Naples-splitter), you will encounter the Palazzo Filomarino and the San Domenico Maggiore church. You will have priority access to the San Severo Chapel, which holds the famous statue of the Cristo velato (Veiled Christ). You will then return on Spaccanapoli in order to admire the facades along the decumanus: Palazzo Diomede Carafa, the church SS. Philip and James, the Mount of piety (pawnbroker), the belfry of Pietrasanta, the music conservatory and the church of San Pietro a Majella and piazza Bellini.
You'll visit the famous Christmas cribs and clay figurines in the characteristic San Gregorio Armeno street. Passing through the city gate “Port’Alba”, you will reach piazza Dante where the tour will end.
